Palak Rice

Warning: This dish requires adult supervision and help.

Ingredients:

  • Cooked rice
  • Onions
  • Garlic
  • Peas (if you want)
  • Chopped spinach
  • Turmeric powder
  • Salt
  • Tomato ( if you want)
  • 2 green chillis (only)
  • Channa dal
  • Jeera
  • Curry leaves
  • Cilantro
  • Garam masala

1. Heat oil and add channa dal, jeera, curry leaves and green chillis.
2. Saute'e for a minute.
3. Add chopped onions and garlic.
4. Add salt, turmeric powder and garam masala.
5. Saute'e for a few minutes.
6. Add chopped spinach and peas.
7. Let it cook for a few minutes and add the cooked rice.
8. Garnish with cilantro. The dish is ready to serve.

Onion Raitha

Ingredients:

  • Yogurt
  • Onions
  • Salt
  • Chili Powder
  • Cilantro


1. Take 3 scoops of yogurt and put them in your chosen container.
2. Chop up the onions and sprinkle them on the yogurt.
3. Sprinkle some salt and chili powder for flavor.
4. Garnish with cilantro.
5. Put the dish in the fridge and serve chilled.

Awesome meals are best served cold (in this case)!

Leftover Vada Makeover

Ingredients:

  • Leftover vadas ( if you have)
  • Yogurt
  • Chaat masala and chili powder( for seasoning)
  • Cilantro


1. Take the leftover vada and soak it in warm water.
2. Soak it in yogurt.
3. Sprinkle the chili powder and chaat masala for the seasoning.
4. Garnish the dish with cilantro.
5. Let it soak for at least 30 minutes.

Now sink your teeth in your finished delicacy!
